The below has been extracted from a WaterFurnace Press Release dated 12 July 2010:
The WaterFurnace Envision NXW Series has been recognized by the 2010 Dealer Design Awards program, sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News magazine.
The News created the Dealer Design Awards Program to recognize companies whose products are designed with dealers, contractors and service technicians in mind. This year, an independent panel of 30 contractors rated 114 entries from different industry brands.
The Envision NXW Series earned a Gold Winner Award in Product Category #4 – HVAC Commercial Equipment – and was featured in the July 12 issue of The News, which is distributed nationally to more than 33,000 HVAC contractors, wholesalers and other industry professionals.
Designed to perform to the highest standards in the industry, the Envision NXW Series water-to water heat pumps provide water heating and cooling for a wide range of applications, including pools, commercial aquariums, radiant floor heating, ice melt, chilled water applications and industrial process water. They also provide precisely heated or cooled water for fan coils and can replace low-efficiency water-cooled chillers and electric boilers.
Contractors will also appreciate the unit’s frame that includes fork truck access pockets in two dimensions and lifting points for easy maneuvering during installation and servicing. The FX10 controls allow the Envision NXW’s chiller monitoring sensors, status and service diagnosis faults to be communicated directly to the building automation system (BAS), giving building supervisors detailed and accurate information on every piece of equipment without removing an access panel.
“We’re proud to have been recognized by a jury of contractors,” said Tim Litton, Manager of Advertising and Creative for WaterFurnace. “WaterFurnace has been focusing on educating the commercial market of our unique benefits and this award shows we’re being noticed.”
