A key driver behind the foundation of GeoExchange Australia is to provide this country with the best of what is available elsewhere in the world. We do this with respect to design, products and installations so that the end result is a home with the highest levels of comfort, the highest efficiencies and thus the lowest operating costs.
Behind this key driver is the belief that living sustainably can also mean living well, with a high quality of life. Living sustainably does not mean that we need to go back to the stone age.
Starting with geoexchange systems, we always expected that there would be a point where we augmented our range with something that aligned with our core philosophy of balancing sustainable living with living well.
In 2016 we found that perfect fit with NIBE, a pioneer in the European heat pump industry and industry leader with a global reach. Their air to water heat pumps complement existing geoexchange systems with the highest efficiencies and quality in their class.
Aside from balancing sustainable living and living well, our product ranges provide the capability to achieve a second goal – the removal of thermal gas from residential heating systems.
If you’ve been following us on Faceboook or LinkedIn lately you may have seen us share about the issues of natural gas. We’re passionate about providing the solutions to this increasing problem and NIBE heat pumps enable us to reach this goal even faster.
These air source heat pump (ASHP) solutions are proving popular with homeowners and as such many of our GAIN Specialists have been keen to learn more about bringing the best of Europe to the growing Australian and New Zealand heat pump markets.
On 17th-18th May 2018, we were pleased to host a representative from NIBE on the training for GAIN Specialists on installing and servicing NIBE heat pumps in Australia. The workshop focused on the application of the NIBE F2040 and F2120 ASHPs in local conditions and was a combination of theory and practical works. Some photos from the training are below.
A big thank you to the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC) for hosting the training event at their Brunswick facility. We are currently installing a geoexchange system on their new Facility at Narre Warren and are big supporters of the work they do in addressing climate issues within the plumbing industry.
