GeoExchange Australia is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with LandCorp in WA.
LandCorp is committed to industry leadership through innovation. As one of their ‘Design, Sustainability and Innovation‘ initiatives to help find better solutions for WA homeowners, a project has been created to demonstrate the effectiveness of a geoexchange system.
The project involves testing a conventional reverse-cycle air-conditioning system against a geoexchange system.
In a project first of its kind, Landcorp are building two homes, side by side, in a typical urban setting – one with the geoexchange system and the other with a conventional system. The aim is to test and measure the difference in the two systems over a two year period.
As a strategic partner with LandCorp, GeoExchange Australia is designing the geoexchange equipment and supplying the ground source heat pump.
Named the ‘Cool Earth’ demonstration home project, full details can be found here.
