Excellence Recognised…
GeoExchange Australia is a
FINALIST in the 2014 AIRAH Awards of Excellence
‘Best HVAC and Refrigeration Retrofit or Upgrade’ category
for our work on the Riverina Highlands Building Energy Efficiency Project (RHBEEP).
Riverina Highlands Building Energy Efficiency Project (RHBEEP)
Installed as a key component of RHBEEP, the new geoexchange system replaced the existing air cooled central plant that was installed during building construction in the late 1980s.
The preliminary feasibility and concept design, as well as the design and documentation of the geoexchange system was conducted by GeoExchange Australia (you can read more about this project and our involvement here).
The success of the project has seen Tumut Shire Council win a series of Local Government awards and resulted in energy savings of 66% and cost savings of over $215 000 per annum.
We are now also pleased to include this project as a Finalist for the AIRAH Awards 2014.
