We live on the Northern Tablelands in NSW where temperatures drop below freezing regularly through winter and since moving into a house with Geothermal heating (9 years ago), we can't recommend it highly enough. It's clean, efficient and so good to have the whole house the same temperature.
Through summer it's also great to be able to cool the whole house and it's surprising how quickly the temperature drops. Running costs are minimal compared to other systems. Think seriously about installing a Geothermal system, you won't regret it!

For us the WaterFurnace system has been a hassle free and cost effective alternative. We carefully investigated all the alternatives before selecting this system and have been delighted with the efficiency and performance. As we live in the Adelaide Hills the system will payback itself within three to five years when compared to fuel oil or bottled gas.
